As It Lays : Melanie Griffith by Alex Israel
For the past year and a half, artist Alex Israel worked at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. He conducted 30 video portraits, many on a talk-show set he built in his temporary studio at the landmark complex. The entirety of the series was presented at Reena Spaulings Fine Art from March 11th to April 8th, and is released on Purple Television and asitlays.com through 2012.
