A film by Alessandro Possati documents Trabalho de Concentracao, a performance art by Asia Argento for the designer Ludovica Amati. The Italian actress has interpreted the S/S 2015 collection of Ludovica Amati with a symbolic ritual of healing from the shallowness and futility of the fashion world.
Asia Argento as a “priestess” assisted by a vestal, the actress Emma de Caunes, has “reanimated” women who live in a domestic but religious site, as the deconsecrated church of Avenue Ledru Rollin. A work of concentration on one’s spirit and soul to find ourselves. A strong and direct message to the viewers who took part at the performance. For Ludovica Amati Fashion is a story of life before than a product to sale. The final act of a process that has always presented the collections of Ludovica Amati in an artistic way, looking for the right formulas to instill the spirituality of her creations. The sound of Vicarius Bliss and the lights of Antoine Parouty had created the fantastic habitat of an event that wanted to get to our unconscious, to make us think, and at the end to give us a message of a possible healing from a life made only of outward appearance and consequent sadness.
