threeASFOUR F/W 2018 show and backstage at Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Cuba, Havana

In celebration of their 13th year anniversary, New York-based label threeASFOUR presented retrospective runway show “threeASFOURcuba” at Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Cuba in Havana, which is followed by an exhibition at Fábrica de Arte Cubano. Founders Gabriel Asfour, Angela Donhauser, and Adi Gil were invited to do the show in Cuba by Cuban-American singer-songwriter CuCu Diamantes, who co-produced the multi-day event with nonprofit orgnization BOFFO.

The trio of transnational artists worked with local Cuban art institutions and collaborated with local musicians, dancers, craftsmen, and models, providing a rich cultural exchange through their special show. A curated selection of designs from each of their collections since 2005 were displayed on the runway, where they included pieces suitable with the local tropical climate alongside several new designs that pay tribute to Cuban culture.
