The Los-Angeles based artist, Jess Valice opened her second solo show this weekend, “Home is Not a Place” at Almine Rech Turenne in Paris
“Home has never felt like a fixed place, I’ve always carried a sense of displacement with me”, shares Jess. In this exhibition, she explores the complex concept of home, both as refuge and wound. Transforming her personal grief and memories into layered scenes of emotional dislocation.
