THE 17th LIFE BALL IN VIENNA BY RACHEL CHANDLER
The 17th Life Ball this past weekend in Vienna. Europe’s largest annual charity event is held at the historic Vienna City Hall. During the opening ceremony of this outlandish and opulent reinvention of the great Viennese ball tradition Roisin Murphy gave an amazing performance on the main stage in front of 40,000 people. Afterwards, 5,000 people in crazy costumes took over the entire City Hall for the after party to celebrate life and raise funds. Here is Rita Ackermann sitting on the steps of City Hall, Vienna.
