303 Gallery inaugurates its new 24th Street space with an exhibition by Rodney Graham. Graham’s humorous light boxes rely on themes from the modern era reimagined with the artist the central character. The seemingly light-hearted images are part of a complex narrative that incorporates references to philosophy and literature. The vibrant color and large format functions as a way to confound rather than explain the artist’s intent. On view through June 15th 2013 at 303 Gallery, 507 West 24th Street, New York.
