[January 18 2025]
As part of CONDO 2025, this show presents a dialogue between Pati Hill and Wolfgang Tillmans, two artists who investigate the photocopier as both subject and tool. Their works interrogate the mechanics of image-making, exploring themes of reproduction, abstraction, and materiality. Hill’s pioneering xerographs transform mundane objects into visual meditations on labor and domesticity, while Tillmans’ inkjet print dissects the inner life of the copier, pushing photography’s boundaries. Together, the exhibition embraces the poetic tension between technology and art, grounding a reflection on modern life’s rhythms.
