Nirvana – Strange Forms of Pleasure is an exhibition at the Musée de Design et D’Arts Appliqués Contemporains in Lausanne, Switzerland. The group show, which will be up for six months, is the first comprehensive exploration of the influence of erotica in design, fashion, and contemporary art. Curated by Marco Costantini and Susanne Hilpert Stuber, the exhibition focuses on superior workmanship, the rare, and the inaccessible. The show presents works from over 100 contemporary artists, with three major creators who were given carte blanche, those being Betony Vernon, Mark Woods and Nika Zupanc. The show runs until March 26th at Musée de Design et D’Arts Appliqués Contemporains in Lausanne. Text and photo Kristopher Arden-Houser
