Across six acrylic paintings, the London-based Japanese artist reshapes fanfiction-inflected hentai into layered reflections on networked culture, gendered autonomy, and erotic image circuits. Drawing from Japanese subcultures and Euro American appropriation, she fuses painterly glitches, commercial motifs, and fragmented authorship. Her figures, shifting between pixel and flesh, move through a mediated field where desire, commodification, and cultural expectation converge and become critically estranged.
