“Familiars” by quori theodor was presented at Art Omi in Ghent, New York
Conceived as a procession across Art Omi’s grounds, the newly commissioned performance brought together participants and their equine guides for a ritual unfolding through a series of food-based encounters. Drawing on ideas of migration, animality, trans histories, and collective care, “Familiars” proposed gathering, nourishment, and ceremony as acts of resistance and survival.
