Kadar Brock‘s labour intensive works, all products of the artists imaginative and strong relation to magic and the game Dungeons and Dragons, express strongly the life-circle of the artworks themselves. Large scale canvases which have been painted, scraped, sanded, white washed and sanded again hang like beautiful reminders of the original paintings own past. Additionally there are works made up of the collection of materials left from the previously mentioned process creating a symbiotic relation between the works on show. On view until October 10th at The Hole, 12 Bowery, New York. Photo Aurora Aspen
