Gallery Diet in Miami will be showing Brooklyn based artist Kadar Brock’s first solo show, SCRY 2. Brock uses an artistic practice which consists of the manipulation of a painting into a torn collaged surface that creates an effect on both micro and macro perspectives. Simultaneously showing the viewer pixels and constellations, the artist also showcases torn pieces of a whole and endless fields of open space, destroying the significant object while leaving in its place the gestural residue of his hand. Kadar Brock’s SCRY 2 will be on view until March 8th at Gallery Diet 174 NW 23rd Street, Miami. Photo Jessie Askinazi
