The intimate insight to Anger’s own LA living-room, now transported to the London gallery explores memorabilia, newspaper clippings, Magazine covers photographs from his personal collection. Across two rooms, one draped in red, the other blue, the viewer is transported to this important force of Avant-garde cinema’s own “home” with its inspirations and views back on Old Hollywood, and so the exhibition becomes an almost private tour of a home museum.
