“Los Angeles is my civic muse” insists Eric Ernest Johnson. In reinforcing the sentiment, his solo show aptly titled “Next Door Neighbor” pays tribute to the city of angels via a staggering body of work spanning paintings, mobiles and sculptures. All works show the artist’s take on how we co-exist with elements ranging from nature and endless stretches of concrete highways to mountain views, oceanic sprawls and construction sites. “Next Door Neighbor” runs until September 26th at The LODGE, Los Angeles.
