Darren Almond continues his Fullmoon Series with a presentation of recent photographs from all seven continents. Each image is taken under the light of the fullmoon with delayed exposures. Almond relies on his experiences of the landscapes during the daytime to inform his practice. The artist often seeks seemingly inaccesible locations which makes each image part of a deliberate journey. Hemispheres & Continents is on view through April 20th at Matthew Marks, 522 West 22nd Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
