Having just celebrated their first anniversary, French Riviera 1988‘s current exhibition explores new works by founders and artists Jennifer Lewandowski and Samuel Levack.
Danse-moi vers la fin de l’amour is the culmination of a two year project exploring the freedoms that result from the hedonistic ritual of dance. Presented through a series of films and stills from private performances of people dancing processed via a combination of material and digital techniques and accompanied by a hypnotic sound piece by the artist-duo’s band Das Hund. Danse-moi vers la fin de l’amour runs until May 27th at French Riviera 1988, 309 Bethnal Green Road, London. Photo and text Aurora Aspen
