This is the first personal exhibition of Annabelle Weatherly, presented alongside a fanzine in which she introduces her work through a letter and a selection of images.
Her beautiful, colorful works reclaim the visual language of fashion magazines and vintage publications, returning it to the unconscious. Rather than celebrating desire, beauty, or consumption, she composes, layers, and stitches symbols, transforming fashion imagery into intimate psychic landscapes where memory, dreams, and fragmented identities emerge. Her collages turn the glossy surface of fashion into a tactile archaeology of emotion. The female body is no longer an object of projection, but a site of healing, vulnerability, and rebirth.
For Weatherly, collage and stitching are less artistic techniques than ritual practices. Drawing on sigils and the tradition of chaos magic, she discreetly embeds symbolic forms into her esoteric like compositions, charging each work with intention. Each artwork becomes a vessel for manifestation, inviting peace, collective repair, and emotional transformation. Against a culture saturated with violence, polarization, and destructiv consumerism, her vibrant and explosive works propose another kind of politics—one rooted in care, intuition, and her belief that visual symbols can reshape both individual consciousness and the collective imagination. In her hands, fashion imagery is transformed into an optimistic language of intimate and collective healing.
