Purple is pleased to present “A Strange Encounter,” an exhibition of watercolors and paintings by Belgian artist Harold Ancart. Inspired by the sentiment of Piero Golia’s words:
“This is Hollywood, land of dreams. Some dreams come true, some don’t; but keep on dreamin’ — this is Hollywood. “Pretty Woman” ends with the worse piece of advice ever. It’s not about the dreaming, it’s all about the story. What you really need is a damn good story. A house it’s just a house unless you don’t have a good story for it. Imagine walking toward a house with a realtor who has nothing much to say. Imagine yourself staring at the facade, hoping for a miracle to break the silence..”
On view, now, until May 8th at C L E A R I N G Gallery, Beverly Hills.
