Wanda Nylon S/S14 “Monsoon” by Frederik Heyman
Frederik Heyman created 4 scenes for 4 silhouettes of the Wanda Nylon SS2014 collection. The 4 sets are conceived as clean open spaces unfolding around a central piece. Their moving geometrical structure is enhanced by a strong graphic black & white contrast, animated by lightboxes changing color with the rhythm of a minimalistic sound by Jan Matthe.
The visual aesthetics play with the retro-futuristic edge and pop references of the collection. The animation is a technical challenge : each look is recreated in 3D from 80 detailed photographs taken of the garment, in a full-circle, and brought alive digitally.
