On the last day of the London Fashion Week F/W 2014 collections we look back and select the rising star that is 23-year-old Hannah Weiland how has been making waves with her faux fur fashion label Shrimps. Shrimps, taken from her nickname, features a guilt-free line of hyper-lux faux fur coats and accessories. This season Weiland expanded her lineup to include candy-colored clutches, mohair biker jackets, an English school-uniform scarves, and a Popeye-inspired collars. We love this kitchy video (slighly reminiscent of the surreal caravan days in Pink Flamingos) fearturing Laura Bailey, Adwoa Aboah and Janet Pearch and Shrimps-inspirations such as dogs, gherkins, miniatures, quad-bikes, finger puppets and cartoons.
Shrimps can be found at Opening Ceremony and avenue32.com. Net-a-Porter will sell an exclusive Spring capsule come March, and shrimps.co.uk is set to launch soon.
