Christian Marclay on Night Music (1989) by Michelob Presents Night Music
Christian Marclay’s cinematic tour de force The Clock, a 24-hour montage of thousands of time-related clips from films, is now showing at the Pompidou until July 2nd. Instead of showing a clip from this monumental film which was the Winner of the Golden Lion award at the 2011 Venice Biennale, we look back at the brilliant document of Christian Marclay from 1989 where he’s improvises music on the Michelob Presents Night Music show hosted by jazz saxophonist David Sanborn on NBC.
