“Burning,” a song by Bruises directed by Kimbra Audrey by Music by Bruises
In this newly released single, indie pop duo Bruises draw a parallel between the climate crisis and the isolated feelings we all felt during the pandemic’s period of confinement. Referencing medieval times, a period in which strong women were burned because they were thought to be witches, this pieces uses the powerful visual image of the female body to address the burning all around us.
