This film is a demonstration of an interactive kaleidoscope the creative team at POST have made for Comme des Garscons parfume Amazingreen fragrance. Developed by POST as an interactive HTML5 component for use online and on tablet devices, the Amazingreen experience sees a sacred geometry of polygons in discourse with the undulating chaos of nature’s rhythms, where speed ramps transport the audience at warp speed to a landscape of vibrating crystalline and irrational cellular life forms. The new web offering www.POSTmatter.com is an evolution of the magazine’s tablet based digital experiments and as such, presents a user experience and information architecture informed by the touch-screen. Highlights include POST’s signature interactive video Q&A’s on the site, with violin prodigy Hahn Bin answering questions through song and strings, in-depth discussions with leading digital pioneers such as Bjork and Philip Glass collaborator Scott Snibbe and artists such as Marina Abramovic, Doug Aitken. There are exclusive videos made in collaboration with rAndom International and Haroon Mirza, as well as a smattering of content from their past editions. The site will evolve as they reach the release of POST Performance, and you will see new and old interactive projects re-imagined in glorious HTML5 to satisfy with a regular feed of finger candy.
