Goldin’s first exhibition with Gagosian features two new films and a series of grid photographs. The films are shown in pavilions designed by Goldin and architect Hala Wardé, blending architecture, image, and sound.
Goldin contrasts artworks of Classical, Renaissance, and Baroque art with portraits of her friends and lovers from the past twenty years, revealing compositional and emotional parallels. This work challenges art hierarchies and explores the tension between beauty, love, and grief across time.
