Friedrich Petzel’s latest exhibition of Troy Brauntuch showcases the artist’s mastery of subtle surfaces and erased content. One of the key players in the Pictures Generation, Brauntuch’s work appears to capture interrupted moments and overlooked actions. The artist deconstructs images to provide the most important visual markers in order to craft a narrative. On view through June 13th 2013 at Friedrich Petzel, 456 West 18th Street, New York.
