New York’s Swiss Institute and curator Gianni Jetzer present the first
exhibition collaboration between Rita Ackermann and Harmony Korine.
Shadow Fux opens this Tuesday. The installation is a total mixed media experience including large scale works on canvas, film, and works on paper. Both Ackermann and Korine belong to the canon of 1990s visual artists and continue to bring a dynamic dialogue and unorthodox approach to beauty into the present day. Korine’s 2009 film Trash Humpers is the exhibition’s uniting theme and starting point for fantastic artistic collaboration. Shadow Fux runs until January 23 at The NY Swiss Institute, 495 Broadway 3rd Floor, New York. Text Juliana Balestin
