“Science/Fiction – A Non-History of Plant” show at the MEP Paris, on view until January 19th, 2025
Exploring humanity’s complex relationship with flora through art and science. Featuring over 40 artists and inspired by science fiction, the exhibition transitions from scientific objectivity to speculative narratives, examining plants as agents of political and ecological storytelling.
Blending photography and video, the works challenge anthropocentric perspectives, highlighting plants’ intelligence and expressive capacity. Rooted in imagination and environmental awareness, the exhibition invites viewers to envision a future shaped by interconnectedness and ecological care.
