Rita Ackermann’s “Doubles” show opened last night at Hauser & Wirth in Paris

Featuring new works and large-scale paintings on paper, this exhibition explores duality through inversion, absence, and repetition. Influenced by Jean-Luc Godard and Paul Virilio, the works reflect on memory, identity, and displacement, drawing from Rita’s experience between Budapest and NY.
