New Pandemics, is a casting and management agency in New York City. The agency was founded to increase LGBTQ+ visibility in the fashion and entertainment industries – where despite what one would think, was sorely lacking in LGBTQ+ representation.
Each season, the roster of talent is photographed not only in accordance with fashion week, but to also document the many faces of the LGBTQ+ community in New York. Many of the talent are artists and creatives who will no doubt leave their mark on the city and culture as a whole.
This season, after so much isolation we used the backdrop of NYC and explored it as more of a landscape, the streets once crowded with tourists took on a more quiet and reflective tone. Each of the past shoots for the agency have introduced a bit of nostalgia, this one is very different in its immediacy.
