“Penny & The Dimes: Dimes 4Evr”, a novella written by Emma Stern

Following her 2023 exhibition Penny & The Dimes: Dimes 4Evr World Tour at Almine Rech London, the novella is a companion piece for the paintings included in the show, acting as a common thread to connect all of the images together as narrative. Inspired by speculative science fiction, Josie and the Pussycats, and erotic fan fiction, the novella explores youth, beauty, loss, and the future of art in the AI age.
