Curated by Adam Murray and Lou Stoppard, North: Fashioning Identity, explores the north of England through the lens of fashion, photography and film. The show at Somerset House features the style, music and design icons including Corinne Day, Peter Saville and Gareth Pugh, whose work captures the spirit of Northern culture at the end of the 20th century and the start of the 21st. Alongside photography and fashion installations, sit Google map interview videos produced by SHOWstudio and ‘Infinity’, a new film by Doncaster-born photographer Alasdair McLellan, in which he revisits the sites of his youth.
