At Casey Kaplan, the ceiling and wall space becomes a site for tension and dialogue between artists Louise Lawler and Liam Gillick. Lawler’s perspective on art in the public and private sphere combined with Gillick’s fragmented narrative showcase the breakdown of context in favor of abstract content. On view through December 21st 2013 at Casey Kaplan, 525 West 21st Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
