[April 4 2022]
For this exhibition, American multimedia artist Nate Lowman has drawn on precedents in art history, the news, and scientific reporting, to present a variety of large-scale, vibrantly colored painting and installations. With a particular emphasis on climate change and the horrors of extreme weather conditions, Lowman challenges the narrative surrounding today’s most pressing issues while adding new meaning to it in the process.
On view now until April 16th at David Zwirner, 533 West 19th Street, New York
