Last week “Mid-Air” by artist duo Blommers & Schumm opened at Foam, Amsterdam
The show dives into 25 years of playful and provocative image experiments. Since meeting at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and starting their collaboration in 1997, Anuschka Blommers and Niels Schumm have become leading figures in international fashion photography, known for blurring the line between commissioned work and autonomous art, with timeless images that escape the cycles of fashion.
