[June 6 2014]
Kay Rosen uses language and color to exploit the possibilities of composition. The work appears quite understated but successfully plays with the relationship between the form and function of words. Rosen also looks into the potential for scale and orientation to change the viewer’s perception of text. Blingo is on view through June 28th 2014 at Sikkema Jenkins, 530 West 22nd Street, New York.
