The exhibition which features 92 diptychs, presented as a continuous sequence, plays on the popular belief that raising one’s legs in the air increases the chances of getting pregnant. During a stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni on the shores of Lake Como, Juergen Teller and Dovile Drizyte reenacted this myth in each of the hotel’s 92 unique rooms. This lighthearted and tender series has evidently been a good luck charm for the couple, as evidenced by the striking portrait of their daughter, Iggy.
Juergen Teller “The Myth” is on view until January 20th at Suzanne Tarasieve Paris.
