Galerie Derouillon presents the solo exhibition Autoportraits by Jonas Ungar on view until May 21st. “My goal with my Portrait photography is to get an intimate and more or less natural image of the people I shoot. Something that everyone can relate to, something banal, in between actions, where the people are at ease. So I started to let the people I photograph take pictures of themselves. To obtain an image that is not influenced by a third party. It is only the person and the camera, very close up, nobody around giving directions or being influential. The result is a very intimate insight” – Text and photo Jonas Ungar
