Jim Lambie’s show Spiritualized translates everyday materials including shirts, jars and belts into liberated objects transformed through new color, shapes and context. Spiritualized, like so much of Lambie‘s oeuvre, serves as a kind of resurrection of the forgotten objects of modern day life. On view through December 17th, 2011 at the Anton Kern Gallery, 532 West 20th Street, New York. Text and photo Juliana Balestin
