French artist and former art director of Purple, Christophe Brunnquell was asked by Sportmax to design the first installation of their Carte Blanche collection. For the design, Christophe found his inspiration in the tradition of Japanese ghosts (Yōkai), proposing three cuts of dresses, using simple shapes and minimal volumes. His black and white ink drawings, simply applied on the white dress like on a white page, are populated by an interlacing density of the strangest demons and the wierdest cadaveric smiles.
