“Costumes & Wishes for the 21st Century” is a collaborative project between BLESS, visual artist Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and interdisciplinary design Studio Manuel Raeder. Costumes that were part of Gonzales-Foerster’s apparitions dating back to 2013, including Edgar Allan Poe, Lola Montez and Fitzcarraldo, will be on show. To coincide with the exhibition, a series of events titled ‘November Cosplay Sundays’ will be held, inviting visitors to try on character t-shirts and accessories designed by BLESS and treat themselves to a beauty makeover by hairstylist Hiro and uslu airlines make-up.
“Costumes & Wishes for the 21st Century” opens on October 30th, 2016 at 4pm at Schinkel Pavillon, Oberwallstrasse 1, Berlin. ‘November Cosplay Sundays’ runs on November 7th, 13th and 20th from 3pm until 6pm.
