For his first European solo exhibition, US-based Ghanaian artist Otis Kwame Kye Quaicoe uses bold colors and figurative shapes to excavate the untold stories of Black American cowboys. Inspired by the ‘Spaghetti Westerns’ he saw during his childhood, Quaicoe presents a selection of paintings and installations commemorating those history has tended to neglect.
