A preview of New York artist and Purple contributor Max Snow’s upcoming exhibition, Black Magic. This new body of work merges spirituality and fantasy. Many of Snow’s models are presented against a stark unending black background which draws attention to every curve of the body, drawing pose and content to the forefront of each image. A departure from previous works, Snow uses the female nude to support his themes of magic and mortality. Black Magic by Max Snow will open on Friday 13th May through to June 15 at Galerie Serieuze Zaken, Laureigracht 96, Amsterdam. Photo Max Snow and Text Juliana Balestin
