A retrospective of Samuel Fosso at the MEP, Paris

“When I work, it’s always a performance that I choose to undertake. I link my body to this figure, because I want to translate its history” – Samuel Fosso

Retracing a career of almost 50 years, there has never been a more complete retrospective of Nigerian photographer Samuel Fosso’s works. Comprised of over 300 prints, the exhibition brings together Fosso’s iconic series, lesser-known works, archival material and previously unpublished images.
