Buttercup Bill Trailer by Emilie Richard Froozan and Remy Bennett
Purple TV presents the premiere of the trailer for the upcoming release Buttercup Bill directed by 28 year old filmmakers and best friends Emilie Richard Froozan and Remy Bennett. Buttercup Bill tells the tale of the psycho-sexual love story of two long-lost soul mates, Patrick and Pernilla, clinging to childhood secrets. Closer to twins separated at birth than friends or lovers they wander from a seedy neon-lit city to the dreamy South seeking escape from a reality they believe has no place for them.
The film was written and directed by Bennett and Richard-Froozan, Bennett also stars alongside actor Evan Louison. There are featured performances/cameos from Haley Dekle of The Dirty Projectors, NOLA tattoo artist Pauly Lingerfelt, Alynda Lee Segarra of Hurray For the Riff Raff, and assemblage artist James Concannon. This is the first film produced by Sadie Frost and Emma Comley through their production company, Blonde to Black. Buttercup Bill will have it’s European premiere at the 22nd Raindance Film Festival, starting on September 24 in London.
