“The Works and Days (of Tayoko Shiojiri in the Shiotani Basin),” a film by Anders Edstrom and C.W. Winter
Parallel to the release of his new book, Shiotani, Anders Edstrom will premiere an eight hour film called, “The Works and Days (of Tayoko Shiojiri in the Shiotani Basin).” The film was shot over a period of fourteen months and focuses on the same Japanese family and village on which Edstrom based his latest book. The premiere will take place at the Open City Documentary Festival on September 12th at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Tickets can be purchased here.
