Purple TV presents “Coyuca,” a film by director, photographer & creative director, Santiago Sierra Soler. Coyuca unfolds a dreamy story of young love set in a small fishing town in Mexico which takes a mystical turn. The film was made for the launch of Studio VRN, the high-end subsidiary of Varon, a Mexican jewellery brand founded by Aaron Changpo. The jewellery brands are focused on love, sacredness, amulets and inclusiveness. The film subverts conventional Mexican ideals of masculinity by presenting a moving tale of intimacy between two fishermen.
