1993 purple prose #2 the life of a mite dermatophagoides pteronyssinus interview by jean-luc vilmouth
In the early days of Purple, we gave a few artists their own column to express themselves. One was the late French artist Jean-Luc Vilmouth, who interviewed animals as a dialogue between two species on the brink of extinction. One of his main questions was: “How should we inhabit the world?” (“Comment habiter le monde?”).
This question perfectly defines our approach to covering architecture, with its complex ecological and social impact, and the design of everyday life.
