ALEPH MOLINARI — You were telling me that Jorge Luis Borges is one of your favorite authors. Do you relate him to your work? 

ADAM ROUHANA — Yes. His work forms an underlying philosophy not just in my work, but also in my life and the way I think about the world. In fact, I was thinking of starting my upcoming photography book with a quote from Borges, from “The Garden of Forking Paths.” The underlying premise of that story is the idea of parallel universes. It’s like quantum mechanics, and parallel universes that exist until they all collapse onto one another, and that becomes reality.
