GUCCI Fall / Winter 2015 collection

Alessandro Michele’s first women’s collection for Gucci was an exciting debut. The collection caught something in the air, something relaxed and casual; it was an almost insouciant way to redesign Gucci’s sex appeal. It definitely speaks to a younger audience, to those who dream of a time when fashion was not fashionable, when sexiness was not a look but an attitude. I shot it on a real New York girl, an art student: no hairdresser, no make-up, no stylist, no team. She wore the clothes for real, all day long, until late into the night.
