The ephemeral installation of the Village du Jasmin, an arts and culture event dedicated to the reborn Tunisia following the Revolution which has swept the country in past months. Taking place on the Parvis of L’Hotel de Ville, the event was organised by the Paris-based Tunisian magazine 00216 with the support of La Mairie de la ville de Paris and the Tunisian Ministry of Commerce and Tourism. The festivities included photographs of the Jasmine Revolution by photographers including Lucas Mebrouk Dolega who died during the revolution. Live debates were conducted on Sunday by Serge Maoti, with the participation of Yves Aubin de la Messuzière, former ambassador of France in Tunisia. Photo and text Sophie Pinchetti
